A cross between my own racialized body and how media has perpetuated my identity through the history of media.
Displacement of the Forgotten
C0R3 Exhibition, Gallery 1313
C0R3 is a collaborative, self-curated exhibition that examines displacement and identity concerning human and nature connectedness. C0R3 can mean different things from being to root to even the centre. C0R3 is transformative as it can manifest into different entities and transfixes into different realms. It is sometimes stagnated, esoteric, or can exist as a physical identity that may shift. Andrew Kostjuk, Laurel McLeod, and Sheetal Prasad explore cultural, sociological, metaphysical and physical key truths in the realm of existence. The exhibition is a social commentary on a common theme surrounding “being” given humanity’s and nature’s current state. On the surface, these three areas of research seem very different, however, when looking deeper, there are C0R3 commonalities within each one.
